About the role
We are a West Loop family looking for an experienced, full-time nanny to join us in a long-term, multi-year role. This position starts part-time in November 2026 and transitions to full-time in December 2026. We are looking for someone who is warm, reliable, and excited to grow alongside our child from the newborn stage through toddlerhood.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for a newborn, continuing through the toddler years.
- Support healthy routines around feeding, napping, and development.
- Prepare meals and bottles for the baby, adapting to nutritional needs as the child grows.
- Engage in age-appropriate play, learning, and activities.
- Provide safe transportation as needed for outings and appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment for the child.
- Light housework limited to tidying up toys, washing dishes, and doing the laundry.
What we're looking for
- Prior professional experience caring for newborns and young children
- Strong references from previous families
- Excellent communication skills in English
